Even though no actual tape has surfaced, porn outlets have allegedly started making bids for it.  There were reports that the opening bid was $500,000 for the tape and for sure the bids will rise.  Not bad, considering that the tape is still nowhere to be found.  Lauren Conrad is reportedly having fits and is in a frenzy to get the tape at all costs.  A lot of people doubt the existence of the tape however, saying that it is just a PR move like all the other sex tapes made by starlets in recent memory.

It is rumored that Lauren Conrad isn’t the real designer of her fashion line.  News has come that Creative Director Sherry Wood is the real mastermind behind the clothes.  Like some fashion designer wannabe celebrities, Lauren is allegedly just the “face” for the product.  Also, someone overheard Lauren saying that she “can’t even draw a sketch” after a fan and aspiring designer asked her for tips.  But then her friends came to her defense of course, claiming that she shares the work with Sherry and even spends time during her visits at the place where the clothes are conceived and manufactured.
